Cell C Breach of Contract

Follow-up: I received a call on Sat 07th April from a Maropeng at Cell C, however I was unavailable at the time. He left a voice message to provide him with an alternate number & convenient time to call back. Ten minutes later I sent him an e-mail & told him that he could call me back at the same number anytime & that I was taking a shower when he called. He did not do so. I even left him a 2nd e-mail on Mon 09th Apr. He has never called me back. Good Grief I am beyond words now.!!!!!

My Cell C Contracts expired at the end of 2017, so on the 3rd Jan 2018 I called Cell C Contract Retentions & Cancellations department (on 084143) to cancel both contracts. I spoke to a lady called Portia at 10h15 on that day. She confirmed that both contracts were eligible for mature age cancellation & provided me with a reference number. She also informed me that my last debit order would be processed at the end of Feb 2018. On the 1st April 2018 I received a notification from ABSA that Cell C had once again debited my account. I then called Cell C on the 3rd Apr 2018 & spoke to a man called Tiyane at 08h40 who had no idea about my request even after I gave him the original reference number. He then provided me with a new reference number & informed me that he was going to speak to his supervisor about my query & get back to me the same day. I have never heard from anyone again on this matter. I regard this as a breach of contract on the part of Cell C which is tantamount to *****! Tiyane also informed me against reversing the debit order from Cell C or face the risk of being blacklisted. Ian
