CELL C blocked my number while still on contract

Cell c permanently blocked my number while I still have a contract with them. I had communicated with them that I had lost my job and was struggling, after 2 months of non payments I finally settled the arrears only to find they have s****ped my number! Really how can they treat me this way after being their client for years, they are the worst network ever. They s**** my number and can't receive calls and SMS but funny can still whatsaap! They have sent me from pillar to post trying to reactivate my number as this is my business number! Till today they are not interested but expect me to keep paying until the contract expires in December! I will never do business with this company again! Never knew network companies did this terrible move towards their clients!
