I bought 100gb I’d data on the back of a series of adverts on 702. This cost R999 and was bought through the web page or ‘self service’ channel. When activated it did not and apparently cannot connect to the internet!!! I contacted various customer help centers and via mail to no avail. I just wanted it converted to the normal data bundle I would buy as I have done for years with no issues. I suggested their advertising was misleading as it did not have a disclaimer that there would be no internet access. The call center didn’t say about an app or anything. This black data app is now being mentioned in further adverts and now mentions an app, set top box, etc!!!! Now you can get access using no data and get tv, movies, etc. how What is data? And how can it be channeled in various ways. Never resolved even with numerous case numbers. Now they want to sell me Fibre- haha
