Cell C billing me after settling my account
I cancelled my contract with Cell C in November. They sent me a settlement amount which I paid. They said the contract would end on the 30th of November. I received a billing for November, which I queried and was told the billing wasn't included in the settlement discount which I was given. Now I've received another billing for December, which I have paid even though I paid the settlement discount and was told the contract would end in November. I also noted that the contract was still showing as active on my credit report. I closed 3 accounts in November, only Cell C is playing cat and mouse games with me. I need to know when is this account going to be made inactive and why are they still billing me?

The amount that was debited was your last bill and your number is active on prepaid.

09 Dec 2020, 13:04I've received a call from your agent telling me about a R1869.46 commitment amount/cancellation fee. I need to know what is this for. Because besides the R2001 which I paid in November, and the R240 which I paid today, I have been paying the contract since inception with no missed payment. So what happens to the monies which I have been paying prior to cancelling the contract? Why am I being charged a "commitment fee"? What is that for?
