Cell c billing

I cancelled my contract with Cell C after almost 15 years with them. I sent an email they acknowledged it promised to call me and never did. Instead they sent me an email to me that I must call them. When I called some grampy young man told me that the contract will be cancelled at the end of January.<br> <br> Today I get a call they telling me that I owe two months in my contract. Why did they not tell me that when I cancelled the contract. The call centre lady stopped talking to me and I ended up talking to myself. I did not drop the call and then she deliberately passed me to the customer survey section were she knows the call will be dropped automatically.
