CELL C Assist - PANIC

My experience is not with CELL C itself but wrather CELL C Assist, an app that you have an option of having when you are a CELL C Customer, the cost is +/- R40 a month and gets billed with your monthly contract. Last Week Friday (2/9/22), my wife and I will driving from Muizenberg to Retreat, I was following her to take her Car in for repairs (again) when she suddenly broke down on the M%, opposite Lavender Hill, not a safe area (gangs). I then opened my app, and logged a panic a assist and a lady from the Cell C Assist phoned me back within 2 minutes and asked how she could help, I explained the situation that my wife had broken down and we needed a tow truck, she asked me to send our live location on whatsapp which I did and within 20 minutes the tow truck from Compass Towing was there assiting us with the towing of the vehicle to the mechanic. The service was amazing, they even asked if we needed the police to come and wait with us while we waited for the tow truck. For R40 a month, this was a blessing to have this service, I highly recommend anyone who uses CELL C to get this service. Regards Mrs Pauline Coetzee
