Cell C, are you penalizing me for not renewing my contract?
My contract expired. I was told I need to serve a 30-day notice. I did that - the consultant i spoke to confirmed that come 20 Oct they will not debit my account anymore. To my surprise i received an invoice of R321 from Cell C, to be debited from my account on 20 Oct - the consultant gave me weak answer. I also queried why am I being charged R321 when my normal installment is R260 - they tell me because i'm no longer on contract, they removed the discount they normally gave me. If i'm not on a contract, what am i on? As far as i am concerned, i'm still on contract, serving my 30-day notice - the reason is weak

Please note your contract matured on 21/09/2020 and the discount was valid for 24 months. Referring to the subscriber agreement terms and conditions you are required to provide a 30 days cancellation notice prior to the contract end date to have your contract cancelled.
