Cell C and MRP Mobile Sim problems

Good day, I am writing this on behalf of my mother in law.

Please assist us with a problem between Cell C and Mr. Price Mobile. She has had her number more than 20 years. Last week Tuesday the phone all of a sudden had no signal, upon investigating she was told by Cell C that she needed a sim swap to be done, she did as told and waited for the 24 hours as suggested for the phone to come back "on". This persisted for another 24 hours and still no change. She then went in to town to try and sort the problem out. When she arrived at Cell C she was told that her number was gone and not on the system anymore and that MRP Mobile has erased her number? How is this possible, she had a call from MRP Mobile a while ago asking if she would like to join and take out a contract and she said no. Cell C then suggested she go to MRP Mobile branch in George and they said that Cell C should sort out the problem, they had nothing to do with the number being disconected.?

She is elderly and we need to sort this out please. Please contact me for the number in question, as I do not want to post it on any platform.
