Cell C and iStore

I took out a new contract in April 2018. Within 6 Months my new iPhone made a bubble. I took it to a CellC shop where I was told to leave the phone there for two weeks? They think it might be a swollen battery that needs replacement. Without receiving a backup phone or any assistance. How in this modern era can you do your work without your cellphone for two weeks? They referred me to an iStore. I also took the phone to an iStore where I got the same answer. Once again they did not want to help me and referred me back to CellC. I replaced the battery at my own cost in the end and will not recommend CellC or iPhones to anybody.
