Cell C and Huawei - JUST DON'T DO IT!!
Horrible Service with Cell C.
They will sell you an upgrade contract for 24 months, knowing this phone has drawbacks, Huawei p star 2021, no google maps, no instagram, no facebook messenger, no google play store, no google apps. Vusi Nochalla the manager at the upgrades department said they can't take the phone back because the seal is broken. but how were we supposed to know that this piece of **** can't even operate Google Maps?? we were advised by Vusi that we can install the Bing search engine Bing Maps..
Vusi has agreed to have the phone collected but he couldn't promise that the phone would be accepted because we broke the seal. This overall has been a very bad experience.
We were looking for an iphone but after phoning Cell C once a week for several weeks, we gave up. Cell C cannot obtain an iPhone.

It would have been nice if the upgrade consultant had advised us of this. Google play services is an application that is used on the back ground and is used with many apps to function properly.
This phone is of no use to us. I walked into a MTN shop today and the sales consultant immediately advised me about this issue. This must be due to lack of knowledge or training of your sales consultant.
Please have this phone collected and replaced with .. for example .. a Samsung A51 or something similar .. or if you rather want to loose us as a customer, end the contract so that we can move across to another service provider.
