Cell C and Courierit, - not sure who is more useless!

I have been a Cell C customer for about 20 years. The service is mediocre, network coverage is less than mediocre. However it has been easier to keep upgrading my 3 contracts with them rather than opening new contracts with other providers. I have upgraded many times, and always do this telephonically and receive the phone the next day, or the following day at the latest. They do however tell you it takes I think 3 - 5 working days, so after upgrading last week Wednesday I didnt panic when I didnt receive the phone on Thursday or Friday. But by yesterday I gave Cell C a call to follow up. The lady said the phone had been dispatched the same day and I should check with the courier company. To my surprise they are no longer using RAM couriers, but now using Courierit. When the phone had still not arrived today, I called again. This time I spoke to someone a lot more helpful. Apparently the phone is "lost" as she confirmed it was received already on the 10th March. Now I have to wait for them to talk to Cellc as they need the IMEI number of the phone and then will search for the phone for 7 days. If not found, I will get a replacement from Cell C. The issue here is the consultant at Cell C managed to find the colour I wanted, BUT it was the last in stock... So now must I sit with a colour I dont want..? Called Cell C and they say they do not have the IMEI number since it is on the box and they would not have recorded it. So now we must wait for the courier company to issue a "lost letter" and once that is done, they can then find a replacement. Again - I dont want a replacement, I want the phone that I agreed upon, as had I not been able to get the colour I wanted i most certainly would not have done the upgrade!!!! This is pathetic to say the least, and I dont see why I should be inconvenienced like this because Courierit obviously have dishonest staff working there. Cell C needs to sort this out and get me the colour phone that I ordered!!!!!
