Cell C, an Appalling Contract Experience

My Cell C contract has come to an end and I am grateful. I took out a contract 2 years ago and have had a poor experience in terms of payments and sorting out of issues. From the beginning I was debited incorrectly. It took me months to sort that out and get the correct debit on my account. I was never fully refunded the money owed but was paid in part. A year and a half into my contract it was cancelled and I was put on to an alternative for which they told me I would continue to pay the same monthly fee. Well that was a blatant lie, after complaining about this I was told there is nothing that could be done as I was now receiving a better contract. So I have had my contract monthly payments increased twice within my contract period for which I never got a notification. Finally my contract end approached, however sooner than I expected as I was cut off a day early! According to Cell C it is up to the system to decide when they cut you off and there is nothing that can be done. I guess it is wishful thinking that they would do a pro rata account for me minus one day. Well lesson learnt, I will never take out a Cell C contract again, so farewell Cell C and may we never meet again.
