Cell C agents refusig to do Sim Swap

I lost my Cell C sim card on 6th July which I have been using for the past 8 years. on 9th July I went to the Cell C branch in Pinecrest, Pinetown to do a sim swap and I was to to told that I was giving them wrong information so they can't do a sim swap. I brought all the necessary documentation and I told them specifically that I mostly use the card for data and I occasionally use it for making calls, they refused to do a sim swap. Since that did not work, on the same day I contacted the call centre, to do the sim swap I also told them my story and the sim swap did not happen.

On 14th June I called the Cell C call centre and explained that I cannot remember all the numbers dialed since the card is mostly used to access the internet. The consulted instructed me to do an affidavit at a Police station to state my story. On 16th July I went to the police station and did an affidavit then I went to the Cell C shop in Pinecrest, Pinetown and they refused to do a sim swap, even though I had an affidavit. Please Help Cell C.
