Cell C adds fees and increases contracts regardless of any valid information. ****mers!

I have been a Cell C customer for 17 years and upon my last contract the staff of Cell C assisted me with a new deal. I was hesitant as i didnt want to pay too much for a new phone. Longbstory short, the day of my first payment, my contract was increased due to yearly increases, so my contract was increased in half a month from signing it. I called Customer Care and the *********** staff told me "it is what it is" but keep in mind it took them 2 months to respond to my questions. Now a year later, they are adding fees to my contract stating "late payment" or "failed payment". Fees that amounts to extra R70 for no reason. I questioned which month i am behind and they have no answers as all my fees are paid. CELL C has no connectivity in stellnlenbosch area and you can have 600GB on your phone, thwt phone will have no connections as they have the poorest infrastructure of any cell phone network. You are basically buying empty shells from these ****mers. I would advise yo never buy from Cell C, rather spend a tad more and go to MTN and Vodacom. Cell C will rob you blind and their staff has no knowledge of technology or cellphones. These are people they hire with no experience or knowledge so they can pay them the bare minimum. Waiting to be helped in Stellenbosch can take a few hours as they are always on lunch and tea breaks while being extremely under staffed. You will also be standing there to be helped, no waiting chairs, nothing to look at, read anything. Just one staff memeber helping 8 customers. I would never want to deal with them again. Bisggest mistake i have ever made was being a cell c customer for this long.

Hi,

The point of the matter is , if customers dont make public posts , companies feel they can do as they wish and walk all over us. You have responded within minutes of this post, but take months to answer customer service emails and the person from cell c phoning you to resolve the issue has no idea what they are doing. I honestly just want to get out of Cell C because every month i have massive issues and being charged extra for fees you did not deduct, and me reporting it immediatley tells me you dont care. Younare just charging is money left and right thinking is standard business practice.

I just spoke to your "team" and they were of no help. They want me to prove whatbwas told to me when in store instead of investigating the matter. The honors are in me to prove it and not them. I asked aboutbthe fees en its apparently due to my bank taking two days to reflect the money in your account. For that, i am charged a third of the contract total cost. The money is gone, and nect month Cell C will find some other kind of loophole in order to take extra fees from customers to make up for their poor service. Ranked 2 my ass

The point is, i went into cell c the 1st of March to tell them i didnt see and payment deducted, and they gave me details and i made the payment right there. Nobody lost anything in this matter but cell c feels entitled to deduct fees for what reason. What did you lose? How come you dont reimburse me for having to make effort yo resolve cell mistakes? When will you reimburse me for all the data i havr bought that i must leave to expire because celll c had no network coverage? I am done with cell c ****. Worst network, worst customer service of all time. Cell c will never be on vodacom or MTN level of work ethics because they have *********** staff on minimum wage assisting you.
