CELL C ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!

Well, a new month, another double payment!!!!!! Due to previous incorrect deductions, double deductions from Cell C, I cancelled my debit order at my bank, and did an eft payment. Somehow, they are able to override this, and deducted R454.00 from my account. This included a R70 penalty fee, dated the 2nd of Sept, and my original debit order date was changed to the 6th. Amazing how they do business! Just a heads up; if you are currently on a 1st of the month debit order, and change it to a later date in the month, you will be charged for 2 months. Apparently payment on the 1st is for previous months' usage, and later payments, for the current month. The good people of Cell C of course will not divulge this little bit of information. So, after I paid my monthly account on the 5th, via eft, I had another deduction on the 6th, for R384 + R70-penaly fee. Was in two minds whether to continue my contract with Cell C, but thanks guys, you made that decision much easier. Wonder if I will have a credit on my statement, or whether they will yet again deduct another payment in October, ********ly, I might add. Absolute joke!
