Cell c account and strange callers
I just want to enquire from cell c if they have 3rd parties calling for collections...I have a Vodacom number calling me with regards to my cell c account... Yes agree I am in arrears as I am currently unemployed ... Can I make some arrangements with cell c please?

03 Aug 2023, 07:38hi there - i am unsure who this number continues to call me and request my ID number first prior to speaking, which I do know yes, we do have to provide, security questions etc...But this lady insists she is calling from Cell C, has a 079 number...despite me telling her I spoke to a Cell C consultant, she still demands my ID number....need to get your cyber security on cases like this Cell C... then she asks, so you dont want to speak to me, I told her I have spoken to the Cell C consultant and arrangements are in place, she was very rude...if you have 3rd parties ensure they are in line with all Cell C communication to clients!

Did the lady identify which company she is calling from as it could be at she called from the external collections company, which we would have no access to.
