Cell C access personal information without client consent
I have been receiving massive calls as from March 2023 from Cell C call centre to upgrade a cell phone and I refused since the offer was a downgrade from my current device. In July l visited CellC store and was told that a Samsung A25 was taken in my name. I requested for all information on how the phone was issued without my consent. I realised two months deduction for R886 was taken. We urgued about the matter but was later asked to go to report the matter with South Africa ***** Prevention of which l did. However, till today, nothing has materi.
When l went to apply for a loan, I was told that Cell C has send my details to the National Credit because of a non-payment of account that was *****ulently taken. I am about to loose my application for finance because of Cell C. Please help me.
