Cell C abusing private info

It has come to my attention that Cell C might be selling people’s private RICA information to Truecaller etc. I don’t think this is acceptable. I would like to hear their response.

Because I am not active on social media etc and do not share my surname with ANYONE besides work. I did a test with other friends and only those with Cell C numbers appeared with full name and surname on Truecaller. I want MY details removed from any public forums or telemarketer lists and remind you of the POPI Act. I did NOT consent to Cell C sharing my private information.

How did Truecaller get my surname if you did not share it? I dont save it on any of my emails/whatsapps/social media accounts?

I know what it is, I am NOT on it. So where did they get my RICA'd personal information from if not from you? Please remove me from all telemarketing and public lists.
