Cell C a *****ulent Company

Cell C is a *****ulent company now. I have been paying R2032.00 for my contract, my last payment was on the 27th of May 2025. I therefore just got an invoice from Cell C stipulating that i should pay R2706.98. I then gave them a call and i was advised that the discount was discontinued my questions are as follows: 1. If they sold me something and gave me an amount to pay shouldn't they let me know before hand if the amount will change? 2. Were they not supposed to notify me of any changes that will affect me? 3. Since i am a client wasn't i supposed to be notified about any changes that will affect me before hand? 4. If i am using any of their services and it is being discontinued am i not supposed to be notified? especially if it will have a R700 difference on my monthly payment? Now people of South Africa thing twice before you sign a contract with these ***** stars. I am so dismayed with Cell C and their *********** behavior. It's either they have a bunch of illiterate in their offices or their policies are just inadequate.

Dear Clife John Motloung

Thank you for reaching out to us. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and disappointment you’ve experienced.

Please allow us to clarify: most of our contract packages include a discount that is valid for the duration of the contract term. Once the contract period ends—typically 24 months—the discount lapses, and billing reverts to the standard rate. This information is outlined in the subscriber agreement signed at the start of the contract. That said, we fully understand your concerns regarding communication around these changes. Your feedback is valid, and we’ve referred this matter to our support team for further investigation. One of our consultants will be in touch with you shortly to assist and provide additional clarity.
We value your loyalty and appreciate the opportunity to resolve this matter with you.

Regards
