Cell C is most definitely not an honest and ethical concern. A salesperson from Durban calls with a Deal. The deal is sold at R308 per month, the first billing over R800, thereon over R500 per month is deducted via debit order. Numerous calls and emails are sent, requesting the RECORDED CALL (all calls are recorded.....). Can anyone find the recorded calls. NONE. Now, go to the bank and stop the debit order and true as faith they take another R500 plus despite the fact that the debit order was cancelled at the bank. How is this even possible and legal in terms of the CPA? The saga continues, call customer care and after an hour on the line they say you need to speak to sales because they have no idea what to do. Ask them to take back their phone and data card because the billing is not what we agreed upon and they say they cannot do that, they will bill for the cancellation per duration of contract. Just no way to win your argument. Nobody to talk to. How do I give them back their stuff? Where will we find the recorded calls? A bunch of thieving ***. CELL C.
