Cell

Good day

Trust you are well I need your assistance I want to Cresta mall cell c branch to do a sim swap in January 2024. Which was successful I they decided to apply for A Samsung s24 on the 13 of February 2024 at Protea Garden cell c store the consultant who was assisting me advised that I had app**** previously with the last , and I should wait for at least 30 Days as he system shows that I earn R7500 only qualify for a maximum amount of R500. I did not do any application the only assistance I needed in January was a sim swap and I did not give the consultant any consent to do a credit scoring. I than drove to protea garden cell c today around 4pm and submitted all my payslip and statement to apply for a phone was I had been previously advised on the 13 of February by the same Lady consultant that I only qualify for R500. The lady processed the application and told me in order for me to get the S22 samsung I would need to have my original green Id book which I did not have at the moment. She than instructed me to collect my id book indoor for me to get the phone was they had stock. Upon my return and submitting my id the lady and her supervisor said I no longer qualify for a S22 I should choose between an honor or Vivo which was not something that I wanted.

1. I am writing this complain to get feedback from Cell c management to advise me in detail why was did the cresta branch consultant do a credit application without my knowledge or consent ? And please also advise if this kind of conduct is an in line with the fias act to conclude an application without client consent and not also using correct client information (e.g pay, without verifiting income ) 2. Why did the protea garden consultant advise me that I only qualify for a contract to the value of R500 and when I chose that I would like to get a Samsung s22 which is a repayment of R500 for 36 months I was offer to choose between honor or Vivi device which is still at the same repayment of R500, if that was the case I would not have wasted my time and petrol to go home to collect my id document for something which I didn’t choose.

My id number is *** contact number is ***
