Can't trust Cell C to keep track and honour prepaid data purchases - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

If I could Cell C a zero, I would. Despite having been a customer for many years, and having nearly 10gb of prepaid data on my sim as of 3 February, according to the Cell C app and the Cell automated balance check, I was unable to connect to internet via the Cell C network from my phone. I phoned to query this as I urgently needed to access the internet for work during loadshedding (which is why I purchase large data bundles from Cell C, to serve as back up. After being cut off and having to reconnect repeatedly, I was eventually told I would hear back within 2 - 3 working days. I eventually received a call back 5 days after I first logged the complaint, so 5 days without access to data I had already paid for, but was just about to go into a meeting, so asked them to call back after 4. I was told that wouldn't be possible, so I asked that I be called back the following day. Needless to say, I was not called and I then received an SMS to imp**** that my complaint had been resolved and asking me to rate my satisfaction. I responded that I was not happy at all, and still received no follow up. When I eventually followed up myself, I was cut off after telling one operator the entire story, and when I got hold of another operator, I was told that it had been escalated and the response from their back office is that I had not purchased data. Obviously, I have the invoice to show the purchase of data, and both their app and their self-service options confirm I still have data. It must be noted that in the 8 days of my not being able to connect using my data bundle, somehow my cell C data bundle, according to Cell C app and self-service, went from being nearly 10gb to just over 7gb, despite my not using it. So basically the message from Cell C is that the information available from their own systems cannot be trusted, and there is no way of tracking the accuracy of their monitoring of data. I am in the process of porting my number from this number, and in the process losing data and minutes that I had, in good faith, bought, but given that Cell C cannot be re**** upon to respond timeously or in good faith to longstanding customers who have already paid for services that Cell C is now withholding, I cannot expose myself to the risk of being dependent on such a service.

This issue is still not resolved. While Cell C notified me that one of my data bundles has expired, they still have not acknowledged that their system is still telling me I have over 3gb of data, which I cannot use I also have an active 60 minute call bundle that I cannot make calls on at all - calls are consistently dropped after 4 rings. This is an active bundle, the app lists that I have 60 minutes that I paid for bit much like the data I can't use, I can't actually use my phone to make calls.
