Can't port out

I'm very unhappy with cell c I requested Saturday and today to port my number put that's on pre pay and mtn said request has been rejected with code ****2, which indicates that the number in question is not a valid number on the operator’s network or is excluded from number portability. And must contact Cell C to double‑check the number on their side even vodacom said the same ting when I try to port it says my number don't exist its invalid or that it's excluded form porting what's going on cell c my number in question is *** please short this out
