Can't get through to the legal department so my credit record can be cleared

I had a contract with cell c. I defaulted on a few payments and my acc was handed over to RL Daly. I paid the acc off. got a paid up letter. now I need my credit record updated as it still shows that I owe cell c. I have made several attempts to get in contact with them but the call to legal department keeps me on hold for almost hours and no one answers, makes no difference whether I call them directly or via call centre. this is affecting my credit score badly.
