Cannot send any outgoing texts and text telemarketing

I ported my number to cell c a few weeks ago but i cannot send out texts. Surprisingly, I am getting texts from them and marketing texts that i did not sign up for. They are extremely annoying and am quite offended that their database is distributed/leaked to marketers. I had a similar problem with my previous service provider and they cancelled all these marketing texts, so they are clearly not from my previous provider.

And the only response i can get from their call centre is, "I dont know how to help you further." Completely silly.
