Cannot do a SIM swap

<p>A few months ago I processed my upgrade and my new phone arrived quickly. I was so impressed with the ease with which the upgrade was done... until I realised that my sim card didn't fit my new phone. However, Cell C had seemingly thought of everything and included a new SIM with instructions to SMS the SIM number.</p> <p> </p> <p>I sent the SMS and received an immediate response - I was unsuccessful and needed to phone the call centre. I eventually had a moment to phone the call centre where I was confronted with two options - either they will log a call for me, or if I answered lifestyle questions they could assist me immediately. Considering that I gave my ID and proof of residence to the courier, I felt offended that I needed to go through a whole process to RICA the new SIM card. I opted for them to log a call.</p> <p> </p> <p>A few days later I received two missed calls during working hours where I was unable to take the calls. I then received an SMS to tell me the call had been closed. I was irritated and took a while to phone in again. I eventually phoned in again. After 22minutes with a very friendly agent, her system had a problem and she couldnt assist me. She phoned me back and I set up my self service pin. Then I got an electronic voice telling me that there is a technical problem. The line cut. I phoned back and again got the same message. Tried again, same thing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today I had the same problem. I cannot get through!</p> <p> </p> <p>Can someone please just help me!!!!</p>
