Cancellation of deceased husband's contract, but requested to keep the number to go on Pre Paid

Good day I'm writing this on behalf of Mrs Rika Schreuder as she does not have access to internet. On Thursday, 09 July 2020 she went to Cell C in Somerset Mall to cancel her deceased husband, Willem Johannes Schreuder ID *** contract. She asked them if she can keep the number [***] as she wants to go on pre paid. Uzair requested her to write a letter confirming that she wants to keep her number. She did and Uziar send the letter per email to Head Office on 09 July 2020 @ 12:57. Email dated 09-07-2020: 'Please find attachment of the customer's wife would like to cancel the contract on behalf of her late husband that passed away. She would like to have the number on prepaid aswell thank you.' Instead Cell C deactivated the number. On 14 July 2020 @ 10:29 Uzair again requisted Cell C to fix this, he again attached the letter. Email dated 14-07-2020: 'Customer came is store as the number is permanently deactivated, The customer wrote in the letter as she want the number on prepaid and I wrote in my email as well, the customer is not happy about this please fix this' Today is the 20th of July 2020, 11 days later and the number is still not active.

Cell C please fix this ASAP. The contract needs to be cancelled but the number active as Mrs Schreuder wants to go on Pre Paid.

We would like to thank Uzair for all his trouble helping us with this. He is a real star*

You are welcome to call her on *** / ***
