Cancellation of Cell C Contract

My husband tried several times to cancel his contract with Cell C on 1 October 2019. He went to the Cell C branch in Empangeni and was told to phone 084 143, option 2. He phoned this number several times on 1 October 2019. The consultants were very rude and didn’t want to cancel his contract, asking him the whole time why he wanted to cancel, and then the phone was put down in his ear. He tried to call back at 04h00 that afternoon – He did not get through to the retention department at all – He was on hold the whole time. No one answered. He then phoned back at 07h00 that night, just to hear that retention department is closed. He then phoned the customer care number after 07h00 that night and your consultant suggested that we sent an e-mail to ***. Which we did as we had to cancel this contract on the 1st, giving one month notice. We have had no feedback from Cell C at all and no answer when we try to phone the retention department - This contract must be cancelled as we did everything in our power to cancel this contract on the 1st of October.!!!!! Due to your consultants being rude and putting the phone down in my husband's ear - Unacceptable!! My husband was contacted by Theodorah from Cell C on 4 October 2019 to cancel his contract with Cell C. They informed my husband that his last debit order will be deducted on 1 November 2019. We had no data on our router for November 2019. SO WHY THE HELL DID CELL C DEDUCT ANOTHER DEBIT ORDER ON 1 DECEMBER 2019 - THAT IS *****ING OUR MONEY!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY POOR PATHETIC SERVICE!!!! I lodge a query with Cell C on 2 December 2019 - To date no one from Cell C has come back to us regarding this query - PATHETIC!!!
