Reviewer Update
I have done some further research and even heard direct accounts from customer services representatives that they are being deliberately obstructive in stopping people from cancelling their contracts. The attitude of Cell C to assure me (and no doubt countless others on this forum) that they have the matter in hand has not been displayed in any of your undertakings so far to me. The chronic number of complaints in this area suggests likewise. Cell C have not solved the problem and has not even bothered to call. I have allowed two days to follow up on this matter and not heard anything besides notes of commiseration. This reply is public and i will make sure that it stays public extending well beyond this forum. This is now a matter of principle and I will not rest until it is resolved and what is now patently a ********** attitude of the customer service department in this company. It is obvious to all who are on the receiving end of this abuse that revoking peoples right to legally cancel a contract is not the same as customer retention. That is obviously not apparent to Cell C.
