Cancellation fee *******
I find it unacceptable - and outright theft - that the amount of money required to cancel a contract with Cell C far exceeds the total value of the contract in the first place. My balance owing on my device is currently R249.75. I have six months left on this contract. In total, I pay R307pm (incl VAT) for this contract. This INCLUDES the portion for the device (some R44 or so excl VAT). Cell C wish to charge me R350 FOR EACH MONTH of the remainder of the contract in order to cancel it. WHAT?! I could understand a once off cancellation fee, much as one has a connection fee. This is unjust and unprincipled - and doesn't even make financial sense for the company. I think we are all growing extremely tired of always paying for incredibly bad service. This isn't value for money.

We are not certain where you got the R350 X 6 months from as that is incorrect.
