CANCELLATION FEE NEEDED BY CELL C

I took a contract out with Cell C last year October. I was told that should I want to cancel the contract I will have to give a calendar's notice.

Today, I was told that I will need to over R600 in cancellation fees. I told them that I dont have the money, but the consultant told me that basically NO MONEY, NO CANCELLATION!
