Canceled contracts
Good day, I canceled 2 data contract on the 6th May this year, got all the confirmation smse. But the beginning of this month the full data bundles was loaded on my devices and now I received a statement that the full amount will be debited from my bank account at the end of June. I've send 2 emails requesting an explanations, no reply, then I visit the Centurion mall branch, first they told me that it is May's data that is due end June. I showed them the invoice and they changed their story that no, it is June's, my contracts was canceled but cell c can't cancel on the six, only on the end of the month, so now I must just pay. I

Kindly note that there is a 30 days cancellation notice. When you send a cancellation request in May, the contract will be cancelled in June.
Please provide us with the number(s) so that we can confirm that the contracts have been cancelled.

19 Jun 2021, 09:36So if my contract was canceled on the 6th of June, why was the full data loaded on the 1st of June and the full amount invoiced for payment end of June. Surely only 6 days prorata should have been loaded and charged for, not a full month.

19 Jun 2021, 10:07We do not offer pro rata benefits. We load you with full benefits and if you do not use them, you will get a disconnection credit.
Pro rated benefits are loaded when you begin the contract in the middle of the month. Your contract was still active on the 1st.

I was told I will receive a credit note and refund via Moses but he since changed his story due to my contract settings, which strangely he never mentioned before.
I've been a cell c customer for over 15 years and this is not thousands I'm talking about, but the principle of this matter is how this whole cancelation was treated.
I'm very disappointed in the service and lies told to me
