CAll centre staff cannot answer Debit order inaccuracies

We are 2 years down the track, and the debit order system still does not work effectively. I have a screenshot of my updated credit card details, from the Cell C app, I have also checked on their web page that the correct details are reflected, yet when you call Cell C they do not have a record of the new details. To add insult to injury when they verify you, they ask for the last 4 digits of your credit card. I give them the new details as captured on the app, and they fail your verification and put the phone down. When you call again and use your old last four digits, they verify you. Then they say the last four digits are something totally different, never heard of those numbers. No one can explain. They fob you off and tell you to wait until next month. Then they cut you off and charge you a reconnection fee.

Dear Fleur Morris
,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.

We sincerely apologize for the ongoing frustration and inconvenience you’ve endured over the past two years with our debit order system. We understand how incredibly frustrating it is to update your payment details through official channels, only to have our systems fail to reflect that information correctly. We are particularly concerned by your account of failed verifications and contradictory information being shared by different departments. Being asked to confirm card details, only to be told they are incorrect despite being accurately updated on both our app and website, is not only confusing but completely unacceptable. Moreover, the inability of our support teams to provide a clear explanation or resolution adds further frustration to an issue that should have been resolved long ago. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the lack of consistency, the repeated disruptions to your service, and the reconnection fees you’ve been charged as a result. This experience does not reflect the level of service Cell C is committed to delivering. We have escalated your case as a priority to our support team and a consultant will make contact with you.

The situation just gets worse. Ntibi from the Team Support Desk at Cell C called me at 15h40 yesterday. She was very polite and friendly. She confirmed that my credit card details have been changed(2 days previously). Blow me down, today I get an SMS to say my recurring card payment for Cell C has been declined. I have checked my bank balance, and no amounts have been deducted. All I want to do is pay my dues to Cell C, but they are making it impossible for me. What should I do next?
