c surance us a ripp off

Hi I own 3 cellphone contracts with cell c and 1 of my phones a note 8 Samsung is insured with c surance that was the biggest mastake ever I'm paying R350 a month for insurance in that device it's been a year they were deducting the monies from my account which I was aware off then my wife dropped phone and lcd cracked and phone was unusable so I sent it to cell c to change the screen the **** started when I was told it has to go for a quote and I was thinking to myself why quote anyway phone when to cell c repairs centre their quote came to R4000 to change lcd and they said I must contact c surance on my own to find out if they going to pay this amount so I contacted them waiting for 1 and a half hour till they answer they say my handset cost R18999 so my excess in this amount is R1250 So I'm trying to explain to the lady km not replacing the phone we only changing screen which is R4000 why are u charging me excess on full value of phone she could not answer me so I asked for the manger said no mangers were there I'm confused I'm just thinking if I take my installments back for the last year I can repair my phone cash
