C-Fibre - Broken Promises and absolutely Zero Star service
Firstly, I never chose to use C-Fibre as my ISP. I was forced to switch from IConnect to Cell-C as part of some buyout with no option to cancel with only 8 days notice of the switch. I've been with C-Fibre since 01/03/2018. Surprise, I've had no service since the 06/03/2018. I've had multiple interactions with the C-Fibre Support team with zero progress. I've had many promises of: - We will escalate this issue - This is now a with a senior manager - We will call you back with an answer
Mostly broken promises with zero results. When I've asked how I can cancel my account wave the 30 day cancellation nonsense, I've been met with "We will escalate and resolve the issue". Where have I hearth that before, perhaps that should be your new slogan. Cell-C We'll escalate your issue (but never resolve it)
As C-Fibre obviously have no clue what they're doing, I've gone directly to Vumatel to resolve the issue. In both instances as Vumatel have started making progress, C-Fibre have interfered, caused confusion and gotten me back to square one.
Also I just want to clarify some communications from C-Fibre that I received recently: 1. Most important is that the deal you signed with iConnect remains exactly the same. Same service at the same subscription price. - Weird I had working internet when I was with iConnect and their support staff could actually deal with support issues. How is this service the same?
2. This means that you will now have direct access to our highly-experienced C-Fibre call centre and technical team who will be able to assist you with whatever you may need - I'm guessing this technical team has been on the job for 6 days as they don't seem to have a clue. Also does direct access mean waiting 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone?
3. The migration of services will be completed by 1 March and your internet services will then be provided via Cell C's internet breakout giving you the benefit of our massive local and international network capacity. - My account hasn't been migrated and you're providing me no internet services or access to your "massive" local and international bandwidth.
Anyway, I look forward to the personal touch you promise in your emails with a response to this complaint of "We've forwarded this issue to a unidentified team member. Please expect feedback. Regards Nameless Person who has the horrible job of dealing with complaints.
yours sincerely but highly disappointed Marcus
