Im struggling to do a sim swap on my number as the sim card just said no sim when i insert it on the phone. I tried to call cell c and even went to their shop. Im told I failed security questions. Its frastrating because all my accounts are linked to the number and I can access anything at this point because of the damaged sim.

As per RICA legislation we can only assist you with a SIM swap if the number is in your name and was being actively used by you. You also need to pass the mandatory security check before we can action the SIM swap for you. There is a lot of ***** when it comes to SIM swaps and that is why we take the necessary steps to protect you as the customer as well as Cell C.
