Breach of Contract
<p>I had signed a 24 month data contract with Cell C for R59.00. After a year I suddenly started being charged R64.99 per month. When I queried this they said the price went up and did I not receive my 20 days notice from them informing me of the price increase. Firstly I had a valid contract and secondly no I did not receive any notification from them. Be wary when signing a contract with these ******. No wonder their business was rated as junk status.</p>
The price increase came into effect on the 1st of February 2017 and in terms of your subscriber agreement, Cell C has the option of varying any of its charges from time to time by means of publishing an amended Tariff Plan and by informing you in writing. Communication (SMSes) were sent on the 22nd December 2016 notifying customers about the changes.
