Breach of Contract

Taken out 50gig/month contract with Cap (R1) in place @ R359/month on 29th September 2018. Billed on 29th October for R990.86. Seriously, ***!!! How can this be possible when there is a Cap in place?

I previously was on the 200Gig once off bundle which lasted me roughly 10 months for 2 years in a row. This equates to just about 20gig/month usage. Now that I am on a 50gig/month contract, my data was depleted within 20days, even though I used my data the same way I have been using it for 2 years. Again, ***?? How is this possible. When I phoned in on 21st October, I was told that my Cap kicked in an my 50gig was up. Ok, that is fine, it proves that there is a Cap in place and is functional...so why am I being charged R990.86??? This is a *******. Its ridiculous, and *******!

No response from either the branch or the social media consultant!! Below email sent out and not even a telephone call to resolve the issue at hand. Why is this so difficult? NO DATA VALIDATION provided to date - This makes me think that either Cell C is delinquent, or - There is something being hidden, as I seriously cannot believe the 50gig was depleted in less than 20days Agreement on 20th November made that there will be no charge at end November as compensation - Today I have been charged the monthly fee Please confirm what is going on here. Can an agreement just be honoured by Cell C. Is it so difficult for Cell C to honour a contract and keep to its word. This has been my worst experience with a mobile/data company to date.
