Breach of Contract
Hi There
On Monday, 2nd March at about 7pm, my Cell C LTE modem lost signal. It did not return and had gone through all the trouble shooting with customer care and technical helpdesk. This has been escalated within Cell C, but still no conclusion.
Yesterday, 4th March, I had taken the modem into the store (Walmer Port Elizabeth) that I had purchased it from. They had no power source to plug into my modem, which was very disappointing. They did not even bother to attempt to try and assist with a power source, they just sat in their chairs with a silly look on their face and continued playing with their phones. After much time trying to get a power source by borrowing one from a friendly store manager, I went back to the store to try and get to the bottom of why my modem is not picking up signal. The assistant kept coughing in his hands and touching my phone which was very annoying. In between helping me, he kept checking his phone to download videos, which is very unprofessional. I looked around the store, there was another customer filling out forms, whilst your assistant again was busy on his phone, I trust me it looked like anything but work related. Finally they tell me that there is no longer an LTE signal in my area. I have a 2 year contract and I am into my 2nd year and now there is no signal? That's breach of Contract. They could not tell my why there is no signal, but advised to send my modem in for a check. I asked why, because there is no signal, and again they have a silly look on their face of confusion. They said that Technical will phone me and tell me what to do. How useless is this to me. I request that the contract gets cancelled, a refund for this months payment, compensation for breach of contract and inconvenience caused.
