Bogus contract extension
Got three linked contracts with Cell C under one profile that is about to expire in one month's time. In careful inspection of my monthly account noticed that on contract shows a new handset value and set to only expire in 2023. No upgrade was made no new handset was received. Over a period f two hours on the phone was put through to eight different agents. every new one went through the verification then try to explain to somebody not interested to listen to again and again be transferred to a new agent to start from scratch. Finally said the matter would be escalated and will be called back within 24 hours. Low and behold an agent did call back but was wanting to assist with internet connectivity??? Said it was escalated to the wrong department but would transfer me and then the agent killed the line. BACK TO SQUARE ONE. Sorry but with agents like all the ones I talked to Cell C deserves its death spiral.

25 Aug 2021, 11:01 On 24 August 2021 this issue finally got attention after I had to make further reviews and threated with a police case for the money Cell C kept *****ing from my account every month as after months of dialing every available number I could find for Cell c I simply got nowhere.
No agent gets assigned to your case so you deal with a new person that is not interested in your problem every time and every time you waisted your time on the phone going through the Security check and gets transferred to a person working from home with no information and also bad signal(???) till the line goes dead and back to square one. They also assign a new case number every time and close the old one rather than keep the same case number till the issue is resolved but presume dealing with the same case number for eight months old would look bad so rather make a new one every time. Been a long standing customer with many lines but luckily the last one terminates next month and will be free from this mess of a company. Got the ghost contract terminated now but would not hold my breath for the return of the money Cell C stole from me.
