Blatant overcharging for interntaional smses
Whilst in Dubai on business at the end of 2015 for 5 days I was charged at over R9 per sms by Cell C whilst I was trying to save on data costs whilst out of wi fi areas - amounting to thousands of rands used for smses which is completely ridiculous and unacceptable to me for old technology such as this that costs the networks just about nothing.

I am a seasoned traveller and fully understand about International Roaming and utilisation of other networks whilst in foreign countries but I have NEVER been charged over R9 for an sms anywhere in the world and do not find this sms charge market related compared to the other networks MTN or Vodacom who charge in the region of R2.50 per sms in Dubai.

I think that Cell C is over charging their users for old technology and even though there are other international networks involved I think Cell C is in that case is not supporting their customers properly and providing a competitive service to what MTN and Vodacom are providing.

This is a blatant ******* for out of date technology such as sms and I resent paying this and think Cell C does not have their customers interests at heart and frankly do not think this is customer focused at all.
