Blacklisting of a lost phone

I lost my phone on 13 December 2016. I immediatelly reported the phone lost at Glocell Southgate mall where I was advised that thephone needed to be blacklisted. I was then made to fill a form for the blacklisting and was told it would be dobe the next day. I then wentto check on the blacklisting the next day (14 December 2016) and was told that Glocell could not do the blacklisting and had escallated the request to CellC and that it would take 2 days. I then waited for the 2 days to pass and when I went back to check on the status I was informed there was no feedback from CellC - mind you, throughout this waiting, no one from Glocell was updating me on the status of my case until I either called them or went to the store in Southgate Mall. After the 2 days had passed and I had gone to check on the status of my case at the Sothgate store I then demanded the contact number for the Glocell Head Office which I was given. I called that number and the same story relayed to me - there wasno feedback from CellC. On top of that I was told that I had been misinformed about the 2 days turnaround time - the correct turnaround time was 4 days I was told. I complained about the misinformation and the lady I spoke to said there was nothing she could do about it. I then waited for the 4 working days period to pass and went and followed up again - still, no one was giving me any feedback until my follow up, even if the store had said they would get back to me. After being informed on Tuesday 20 December, a week after reporting the phone ******, I decided to not follow up for a while and wait for the store to give me updates which never happened. I then followed up with the store on 28 December 2016 and still the same feedback was given that there was nothing on the system and that there was no feedback from CellC. I then called head office and was put through to a guy named Owen who was dealing with my case. I spoke to Owen and expressedmy dissatisfaction as to how long this process is taking, especially because the 4 days turnaround time had elapsed and no one had given me any feedback. He then stated that the person who told me about the 4 days turnaround time had misinformed me. I got upset again and as we were talking the phone got cut off - whether intentionally from his side or not remains a mistry to me.... I called again on 29 December trying to speak to the same Owen but to no avail - I waited for 34 minutes on the phone and everytime I was told he was busy with a customer.

Up to date, the phone has still not been blackilsted. I do not know what the people who have my phone are doing with it - whether they are making calls which I will have to pay for. I am still paying for a phone I do not have and no one is forthcoming with any information unless I do a follow up. I currently do not have a phone to use, all my contacts are in the lost phone and no one seems to be concerned by that . Blame is being placed on CellC and I am not being given any valid reasons for the delay in the blacklisting of my phone.
