BLACKLISTING A PHONE!!! ARMED ******* - CALL CENTER LAUGHING MATTER

On the 6th October 2017 we had a armed ******* at work whereby I was attacked with a knife and hit with a gun. I was taken to hospital with a ambulance sustained fractures. The week I was back at work from this terrible trauma I wanted to black list my phone and called the call center. I could not answer the security questions and told them I was traumatized. I called then about 4 times after that, the same problem. They told me need to go to Cell C direct. I asked and told them my purse was ****** together with my ID and drivers Licence as well as cash. I have only got my password and the call center said no problem. Yesterday 9/11/2017 I went to the Cell C store in Westgate and was met with friendly staff. Let me tell you, they only friendly until they realize you not going to spend money. I have explained my situation upfront and showed them the police reports as well as I had the box still which the cell phone was bought in as it was still new. The lady let me fill in the Blacklist form and still help me read the IMEI number. Then she faxed it and called. This is where the relationship got weird. Same problems. When I called their call center the same day 9/11/2017 and it was a recorded call, the lady at call centre started laughing when she heard my name and number. To me this was no joke. At the store the lady might as well laughed at me. She called first to see if my passport can be used, and who ever she called said it was fine. That why we proceeded filling in the Blacklist report. After all that she told me the call center said they cannot help as I could not answer the security questions. I had showed her my bank date on which I recharged and this question should have been accurate. The Insurance at work will pay out my phone but I need a blacklist number. Now I am *****ed. It was a Samsumg Galaxy J1 Neo worth R1500 new. I have all my services at Cell C even my pocket data is with them. I am badly hurt and extremely disappointed.

The Cell C call centre called me and emailed a blacklist form. I emailed the form which was already filled in at their Westgate branch with a copy of my ID. That was this morning Saturday 11 November. I am still waiting for a response and hopefully get one before Monday. I will keep on give feedback on Hello Peter as I belief that if Cell C is trying to rectify the problem, I will still keep my loyalty with them. Till later....
