I was offered a upgrade contract for R304pm,which i accepted and it was made very clear that it is a verbal binding contract and that calls are recorded. Confimation email i received after the call stated the contract fee was R414pm. I rep**** to say that was not the amount agreed. I called 145 various times and am still waiting for a return phone call. Everyone i spoke to said they would get a manager / supervisor to call me back... still waiting. 2days after the call a phone arrived at my office, i did not accept it as it was also made clear that once the phone is signed for you accept the t&c's of the contract which i had 2 versions of. I was not prepared to accept the R414pm. Conveniently the originally accepted contract was cancelled on Cell C's side when i phoned again. If i had made a mistake i would not have been able to conveniently cancel a binding contract. I expect Cell C to honour the original binding contract. The service provider should be just as liable as the consumer. This is rediculous Consumers have no way out but suppliers can just cancel as and when and how they want!!!
