Billing after contract ended

<p>What a letdown!!</p> <p> </p> <p>My contract ended on 11 March 2017. <br /><br />I called before this to find out if I can cancel the contract but was told that there would be a fee. I enquired to this fee twice and I was advised twice that on the date the contract ends (11 March 2017) it will end. As in finished, no more debit orders or accounts<br /><br />Low and behold!! Here come the Accounts. SO I call in April 2017 and I get told that the R110.00 Being debited are for the first 2 weeks of March and that it would be the last debit order. <br /><br />TA DAH!!!! It is May 2017 and guess what??? Another Account for R 110.00. To which I call again and get told the same story of it being the last Debit order. To which I say No, last month was the last Debit order. Then I get asked if I have cancelled the contract like duh! It legally ended on the expiration date of 11 March 2017, as advised before by the retentions department on TWO separate occasions!<br /><br />I get transferred to the retentions department and the line dies. Just like that. <br /><br />Why on earth am I being debited for a retention amount when the contract legally ended after the agreed upon term by both parties?? <br /><br />This is appalling!!!!<br /><br />Fix this immediately<br /><br />Kind Regards<br /><br /></p> <p>Jamie</p>
