Biggest ********
After numerous complaints, emails, request to please assist me - NOTHING! I have requested a manager to contact me - also nothing. I cancelled a router that was on contract on 16 Jan - since then, I had no internet. I called the whole week, eventually by the Friday 20 Jan, the matter was escalated. I have since still not received any feedback besides "please bear with us, they are looking into it". I then had to purchase a prepaid sim card, loaded data onto it as I am now 18 days without internet connectivity. Fast forward, paying for additional data because I don't have access to the data that I am already paying on the contract, and suddenly I have no network at home since Saturday 20:00. I eventually came through to call, went through the whole song and dance, reset my phone, tested the sim card, and still nothing. So at this point - please don't waste your money on Cell C - they are the biggest ********. You are paying for a service you cannot use, and then they just ignore your requests to get it sorted. Two of my 4 week notice on the router contract is finished and I had NO use of it. I now have data on the prepaid sim - cannot use it either! The first issue is now on day 18 unresolved, and the second one day 5. Cell C can only keep one promise and that's that they will change your life - my partner works in Africa and this is my only means of communication - the whole situation is so ridiculous that no one can even believe that Cell C would render such a ********** service. This is costing me money, but has also caused a tremendous strain on my relationship. So thank you Cell C for ruining people's lives, but that's the thing with *******, they don't care how it affects you.
I was called to be told the matter is resolved, that it has been escalated for the tower to be repaired but they cannot put a time frame on this. Yet, my contract is coming to an end, I have paid for the data, but had no access to use it, and incurred additional expenses to just be able to have data at home. I had to do this twice, because that is how unreliable Cell C is. However, I was told again to do a sim swop on both sim cards, because she thinks the sim cards are faulty. Kind of makes you realize that Cell C is not too sure about anything.
So NO, my situation has not been resolved, I still have no answers on the data I paid for and couldn't use that is expiring on the 15th of February as well as the prepaid data I purchased but cannot use.
I was yet again ignored after requesting a manager to call me for the umpteenth time, and my email to Cell C customer care was also unanswered. So I will place another Hello Peter complaint, because this matter - although closed in your eyes, is still not resolved. I was also told that Cell C is still within their Service Level Agreement because my first complaint was apparently on 30/01, yet conveniently forgetting all the calls and complaints prior to that one. So maybe your legal department should look into this, seems like you are breaking the contract. I don't think it says Cell C can fail to render a service for 22 days and the client must still pay for this non-existant service.
