Beware of CellC

I was contacted by a CellC cold caller whilst driving offering me an upgrade. My contract was a Month to Month Pinnacle 100. He offered me a "better deal" for the same amount ( R126 +vat = R177 pm). I requested the cold call salesman to send me more information via e-mail about the contract as I wasn't in a position to concentrate on the call (Im still waiting for it.) He assured me if I don't want the contract I have 5 days to revert back to my original contract...not telling me that Cell will charge a fee without me even sighing anything. That same day I e-mailed CellC as well as I phoned their customer service to reject the New prosed Contract as it was less value for money. I informed them I want to remain on my old plan. I am a pensioner and don't need more. I don't even use the data or SMSes. I only need Voice but the "Cell Mafia" don't give Voice only deals and force you to pay for something you don't need or want. To my surprise I was charged R317 or this month instead of R145. By careful manipulation charges and using stupid excuses they managed to concoct a charge that I see as dishonest. Be careful when dealing with **** salesmen and dishonest companies. Stay away from Cell C. Immediately terminate all calls from CellC salesmen
