Beware of Cell C business practices
Dear Mr Stevenson. At last I received an honest reply from one of your employees and explains my no reception. I copy and paste the relevant part of the email. “I can honestly say that the connection has been impacted as a result of us now roaming under Vodacom as well as on the MTN’s network and it has been a migration that was taking place”
Vodacom has virtually no or very erratic coverage in this area. Now I’m sure this changing of my contract is covered in the small print of your contract but I don’t think it is in the spirit of how I define ethical business practices to intentionally decrease the quality of service to your client. While on the subject of ethical business practices. In June 2021 your staff at the Oakfield’s Branch advised me to upgrade from a Samsung A32 to a Samsung A50. I have the box to prove it. Sometime later when I looked at the contract I saw that I had in fact got a new Samsung A32 and not a Samsung A50. So I had no need to upgrade and sign a new contract. Again not an ethical business practice to intentionally entice your client to sign a new contract. Obviously ********* business practices is the norm at Cell C and I think the public must be made aware of this. In conclusion I will be lodging a formal complaint with ICASA. I cannot wait for June 2023 to cancel my contract and get rid of Cell C. Regards C de Jager
Thank you.
Thank you.
