BAD, SUB STANDARD AND UNPROFESIONAL SERVICE

Once again Cell C failed to deliver. My girlfriend has 3 contracts with them. I am using one of the contracts. I also have a Cell C pre paid sim card. I enquired from the Cell C call centre on the process to follow on changing the cell no of the contract to my prepaid number. I was not assisted and was simply told "The contract is not on your name" I did not want to do the change during the call but was simply trying to determine what the process is. I phoned the call centre later the same day. My girlfriend and both spoke to a consultant and did the application for the number change telephonically. We were informed that the process will take 24 hours to complete. About 36 hours later a sms was received that the request cannot be done as number did not belong to the contrsct holder. This was never mentioned to us by the consultant My girlfriend and I then went to a Cell branch in an attempt to have it done. The consultant was very helpful but we were unable to finalise the request due to the call centre not answering. I was asked to return to the branch the following day. I arrived at the same Cell C outlet the following day. The consultant was very helpful but was sent from pillar to post by various persons at the call centre. It seemed that no department wanted to take ownership of finalising the request. Not even when the managers could get it done when they spoke to them. I was finally informed that I will he able to get feedback the following week. What should take about 24 hours to complete is now going to take about a week. This is the type of level of service which make me want to part ways with Cell C permanently.
