Bad Service from Cell C and Hollard

To whom it may concern

RE: Poor Service from Cell C and Hollard Insurance

A query had been sent to Cell C in March and have not received any feedback regarding the matter. In January my son who resides at the University in Pretoria, whose cell phone was in his bag as he went for training when he wanted to use his cell phone it wouldn’t go on as the LCD was damaged. He went to the Cell C shop in Menlyn Mall, Pretoria to advise them about the incident and was told by the consultant that because the cell phone contract is on my name he cannot report the query. My son had then used his friend’s cell phone and inserted his sim card into the phone to let me know about the problem. I had then contacted the Cell C branch and was told to bring the phone in, please note that the phone could only be booked in March as my son had only come to Cape Town then. I was then referred by Cell C to consult with Hollard insurance, my question is why am I dealing with the insurance when the phone is damaged with Cell C. Does Hollard now sell cell phones as well? Should it not be Cell C’s duty to consult with the insurance? All the consultant is say she will get back to me, we are heading towards June and received no feedback regarding the matter. I have been consulting with an investigator, Noluthando Msibi from Worldwide Advisory Services ********** regarding the matter and still got no reply. I want this issue sorted out ASAP. Please refer below to the emails sent to Cell C as well as Hollard Insurance: On Sat 06 Apr 2019, 12:12 Roland Rulse ********** wrote: Dear Mahlako Julia Can you please tell me why is the claim referred to a different department every time Does it really take the insurance a month to short out a claim. Is it worth it to take out insurance on a cell ph.This is the third department the claim is referred to...
